City of Montezuma Housing Grant Program
Montezuma City Council appoved a new grant program in 2019, offering two kinds of assistance to homeowners. The primary goal of this program is to spark private participation and investment in the program’s goals of neighborhood revitalization, renewal, and improved curb appeal.
The first program, offers up to a $20,000 reimbursement for exterior repairs made to a dilapidated structure. A 50% cash match for the total project costs is required for this grant. Two of these grants have been awarded for 2019-2020.
The second program, offers up to a $20,000 reimbursement for acquisition and/or demolition related expenses for a dilapidated structure. Two of these grants have been fufilled for 2019-2020.
